The words the cabinet uses

One definition per word, and the name of the page where the word does its work. This is the only place in this documentation where terms are defined; everywhere else they are simply used.

Sending

WordWhat it isWhere it works
Sender nameThe name the recipient sees instead of a number. It is registered in advance, approved by the operators, and chosen in the form from the list of your approved names.Registering a sender name
CampaignOne act of sending: one text, one sender name, one list of recipients, one moment. It has a name, a cost and a state of its own.Sending a bulk campaign
MessageOne text to one number inside a campaign. What the recipient gets, and what the report shows a line for.Manual campaigns
Message partThe unit the network moves and the unit you pay for. A long text is cut into several parts, and the alphabet decides where the cut falls. What you pay for
Test messageA single copy of the campaign sent to your own number before the real send. It is charged like any other message.Options and cost
ModerationThe check a sender name goes through before it may be used. It is done by people, it takes time, and it can end in a refusal with a reason.Registering a sender name

Contacts

WordWhat it isWhere it works
Address bookA saved list of contacts that a campaign can be sent to by choosing it instead of pasting numbers. How the contact base works
GroupA book that holds other books. It is a way of ordering the tree, not a separate kind of list.Keeping the lists in order
ColumnA field of the book. Columns are positional: the first is always the phone, and the names of the rest are stored apart from their values.Columns and variables
VariableA placeholder such as {1} in the campaign text, replaced for each recipient by the value of that column. An empty column leaves an empty place.Columns and variables
Event dateA column holding a date — a birthday, an expiry, a renewal. The scheduler compares it with today and sends to whoever matches.Columns and variables

Time and work

WordWhat it isWhere it works
Pending deliveryThe state between "accepted" and "handed over": the message is taken and is not on its way yet — neither sent nor failed. What the statuses mean
Number of the workLong work — an export, an import, a campaign, an HLR check, a cleaning — gets a number as soon as it starts, and the result appears under that number when it is ready. What happens after you press send

Money

WordWhat it isWhere it works
BalanceThe money on the account right now.The state of the account
Credit limitAn allowance above the balance, agreed with your manager, that lets you keep sending at zero. The cabinet shows it on the account. What you pay for
ReserveMoney held aside for a channel or an arrangement: it is on the account and kept for that purpose. The state of the account

Channels
