Options and cost

The lower half of step 2, common to every channel. Each option changes both the price and the length of the message, which is why they are on one page with the cost.

OptionWhat it does
Short linkReplaces your link with a short one and counts the clicks
Unsubscribe linkAdds a link that lets the recipient opt out
HLR checkChecks each number before sending, for a surcharge
Notify me when finishedSends you a message when the campaign is done
Save as templateKeeps this text for later; the sending stays the same

The first two add characters to the message, and the counter shows it immediately. A text that fitted into one part can become two the moment the unsubscribe link is switched on, and a two-part message costs twice what a one-part one does.

HLR here is a surcharge on the campaign

The switch in the send form checks the numbers, charges for the check, and then the campaign goes out as usual. The HLR screen in the menu is the other half of the same name: it checks numbers and that is all it does.

What it will cost

The calculation is requested separately and takes a moment to appear: the recipients, the parts and the operators all have to be counted. The result is broken down by operator, because the price is not the same for all of them.

The figure is an estimate for the same reason the recipient count is: duplicates, black-listed numbers and invalid numbers drop out while the campaign is being prepared. The exact amount is in the reports as soon as the campaign has started.

The exact numbers are on the screen

Limits, prices and the set of available options are tuned to your account. This documentation gives the meaning rather than the figure: the current value is always shown on the screen, next to the field it applies to.

The test message

The test sends the real message to a number you choose, from your balance, at the ordinary price. It is the one way to see the sender name and the text exactly as the recipient will, and it lands in the reports like any other message.
