Sending to RCS

Screen: RCS, address /create-sms/rcs, or Send SMS → RCS messages in the menu.

RCS is the successor to SMS on Android: the same delivery to a phone number, but the message may carry an image and a button, and it is shown in the standard messaging app.

Connecting the channel

The RCS card is on the send screen, and behind it there is a short request form for the channel. Fill it in, and the request goes to your manager, who sets the channel up and answers you directly.

What the message may contain

Text, an image and a button with a link. For several slides in one message there is Viber.

What changes the price

This is the part worth reading before the first campaign. An image or a link in the message moves it from the transactional tariff to the ordinary one. A plain text message about an order is charged one way; the same message with a picture is charged another.

The difference is not a penalty: a message with a picture is an advertisement from the operator's point of view, whatever it says.

Limits, prices and the set of available options are tuned to your account. This documentation gives the meaning rather than the figure: the current value is always shown on the screen, next to the field it applies to.
